STRING PRAIRIE GARDENS NURSERY

A sloped rocky hillside, kissed by moments of sunlight through the tree canopy, becomes a canvas for a vibrant garden. Natural stone outcrops are embraced, not erased, guiding winding paths and terraced planting beds. The landscape retains its rugged character, with native stone walls, stepping paths, and pockets of soil supporting hardy, drought-tolerant flora.

Greenhouse & Growing Infrastructure

Tucked into a south-facing slope, a solar-heated greenhouse with glass panels and timber framing acts as the heart of propagation. Inside:

  • Rows of seedlings: heirloom flowers, medicinal herbs, and rare pollinator-friendly species.
  • Workbenches for bouquet assembly.
  • Overhead vines (like passionflower or jasmine) trail around beams.

Outside, raised beds overflow with specialty blooms: dahlias, lisianthus, foxglove, cosmos, and zinnias.
